Yep, it's quiet round here. In Yorkshire (the land of the great) we spend most of our spare time driving our porsches rather than talking about them[:D]

I though to get us all going, we could show off our pride and joy.

check mine out......

Brian,
I couldn't let that sly pop about Yorkshire men go without some kind of response - could I?

When and where should we have a social gathering then guys?

Jacob

Think of all the petrol I would use comming down all that way for a 1/2 pint shandy !!
Well at least my comments have been read ..seems a pity more members don't join in ,a social event and run will bring people together

Good to see someone's found the regional listing - now that we have one - only came into being last week.
Regarding meeting up etc, why not come to the next club night on August 4th. as a start and we can discuss future plans....

I gonna try hard to get to this one - not been to one before.

Yes, that's right Kenny. See you there

Do you know anyone else who might want to follow your example?

I've not come to one of these before - My Porsche is having a service and will be in the garage for a week or so, am I coming?

Look out for the orange '74 bug

I'll try my best to make it-may be a little late-Jeff Pol Silv 964 C2 a little ruffed-see piccies on Gallery thread.

Hello 'Stokey'

Glad your thinking about coming along. If you're stuck for directions - there's a map on the region 7 tab on the website.

Regarding the format - a bit embarassed to say that there isn't one for this meeting.
It's my first meeting as RO so thought I'd get the introductions out of teh way at thsi one before moving forward.
Come along anyway and make some suggestions. We can look at incorporating them as we move forward.
Regarding 'non member' - I had this problem initially. Contact Sophia at Club office IT to tell her your using the Forum and want to be registered as a member.
She'll sort it for you. Call the office on 01608 652911 or e mail her at it@porscheclubgb.com. Include your membership number in correspondence

Well done Jeff - hope to see you there.

Have we met? Chatsworth / July/ Flouch / something about uprated suspension?

Yes we met at the Flouch-Chatsworth. (Sorry couldn't make it last night) When the smoke clears i.e sell House & move, Wife has baby and new job materialises I will become more involved. Do you have some minutes from last nights meeting (sorry for being so formal). I do have a few ideas for things to do, the simplest one being an early evenings drive meet up say to cat & fiddle nr Buxton, perhaps an evening meal, visit to Lotus or TVR.....or perhaps the people that make the bodies for TVR etc....a trip to Wales for the superb driving roads etc....

sincerely

Jeff

If you do decide on a run out to the Cat & Fiddle, let me know and I'll try and round up some North West members to join the party[:)]
