gearbox sorted!

after having a new gear lever fitted,, a short time later and the box refused to go into fifth gear,,,,
got her back today and i had fitted new rear gear linkage which consisted of joint rod,,washers,,sealing ring,,x2 ball pins,,serrated lock-w,,and some more washers,,parts came to just over £50[porsche centre/east london]...
shes back driving like she has a new box and many thanks to jon mitchell whos diagnosis was spot on,,,jasonp

for the moment greg,,,,shortly been into six years of ownership and i dont think,,,when "push comes to shove" if i can let her go,,,so off to view some mercedes sl [3.7 so avoiding the abc suspension],,should sort one out before xmas or just after and i can stick my old but very shiny lol girl on her c-tec and keep her nice and snug until the new year and horrid weathers gone,,,
