Here’s an even cheaper option too which could be worth a punt:

Boxster 986 / 996 Front Hood Shock Aftermarket
Jeff
Recently fitted MAGNETI MARELLI brand to Boxster front hood and got them from Autodoc as part of a larger parts order.
Recommend download your Boxsters parts catalog and get the Porsche part number and then search web, including eBay, by part number. Also check the part number comparison sites to see if they are used on other cars as then they tend to be available far cheaper (e.g coil packs are used on Vauxhalls and cheaper when searched with Vauxhall part number).
Look beyond Design911 and try local Porsche parts suppliers such as Type911 especially if you can collect in person.
Hope this helps
Sounds a decent dealThe original supplier is STABILUS, I have recently bought a pair of front gas struts for £20 each off EBay with free delivery
