Fuel Pressure Regulator Fitted

Some good news at last.

Following the advise on clarks, I finally got round to fitting the new fuel pressure regulator. Now the car starts sweetly from cold, has no idling problems, and the fuel pump no longer screams in protest. It's actually pleasant to start and drive again!

The instructions on clarks were not particularly verbose, but enough to work out what to do. It was fiddly but definitely easy for someone with limited experience (like me) to do. Now if only the parts would arrive from Porkaparts so I could drive it again. The car is back at the garage this week though to have the wings done, I'll post the results.

Chris

good news you got some work done on the car.

i am not sure why the parcel has been rerouted back to me but i suspect the courier has broken the glass. As soon as i recieve it i shall contact you and arrange re delivery.

would you prefer it if i parcel the other parts seperately and put on a next day delivery and then sort the glass out separately.

cheers Elliot

Hi Elliott

I'm happy for you to do whatever you think best, bearing in mind it's going to cost you a lot in postage! We rarely have anything arrive that hasn't been kicked about the floor by couriers! Thanks for bearing with me on this and keeping in touch. I'm keen on the parts arriving because I'll have an excuse to postpone painting the dining room next weekend!
