Frt anti roll bar drop link replacement

Well if she wants a break from him then I'll drop you a line when I am next doing something to my S2. You can send him over and give her some peace ... (and he can also get to grips with a superior type of 944 as well! *)

Oli.

* - Yes, I know you moved your 951 on for a 968, but I still need to get a dig in! [;)] How are you getting on with the 968 BTW?

Hi Oli,
I have just got the 968 back from its first service after doing 6,000 miles in 4 months and the years spent as a Garage Queen are coming back to haunt me!

the worst one was that the Cambelt, which was done last year, was flapping about without the tensioner, erm, tensioning! They were amazed that it had not come off...

The cost for Service, MoT, NSF Front Wheel bearing, Cambelt & Tensioner, 2 new Bridgestone SO2 N3s, de-rust and underseal all Brake and fuel pipes, Brake fluid flush, coolant flush and tightening my bonnet up [&:] was a whisker short of £1300 (they didn't charge to tighten the bonnet!!)

Which whilst a big bill, I thought was very reasonable (also put about 1,000 miles on their Mini Cooper D Courtesy car!!)

A friend of mine is the owner of Dove House Motor company and has had 3 968s. Last year he opened a service centre there, poaching the Workshop Manager and a technician from Porsche Silverstone

The service at Dove House was excellent, I especially liked spending 40 minutes being shown around my car by the Workshop Manager and going through all of the issues and deciding what they will sort, what I will do myself and pointing out other bits that may need doing later, he was also pleased to have a customer that was enthusiastic about the car too.

I need new Discs and Pads all 'round so that is going to be another big hit, but hopefully the car will be set up for a year of hard motoring then

Spoke to the Dove House gays at the TIPEC National this year, seemed a friendly bunch, they gave me a very nice pen !

Sounds like they were very friendly indeed Jim ;)

What are these KLA failures being hinted at, failures of what parts?
