My 95 C2 has water ingress into the front trunk at two spots. One is likely due to broken trunk seal near the air vent under the scuttle panel.
The other one is a bit unknown but through the front of the car. The area under the spare wheel is wet. The rubber plugs on the floor seem fine and i think it came through the bonnet gap in at the front.
I would appreciate if someone can share a photo of the gap between the bonnet and front bumper. I have the seal sitting between bonnet and bumper on order and would like to see how tight the gap should be. Also is that area between the seal on bumper to the trunk seal meant to be water tight or if water can come in, and if so, where is the water supposed to drain through as I suspect that water gets under the spare wheel through that area. Little difficult to describe without pictures, hope some of you will be able to help.
Thanks,
Ben
