Stephen,

I'll be there. I believe it's going to be an early start (I'm coming from Manchester), perhaps arriving about 10:30, but I'm happy to follow others' arrangements.

There will probably be a bit of a cavalcade heading down the M6 with people joining here and there.

I expect plans will be laid in the coming week. I imagine additional information will be available on 968uk.com.

Cheers,

I'll be there too, only I plan to stay in the local area (which no doubt means I'll be last to arrive!)

Hi chaps,
I'll be meeting people at the Deanwater in Wilmslow at 7:45 then again at southbound M6 Knutsford services at 8:15 then on down to the A429 to meet with people there. Everyone welcome, I think we have at least a dozen people already so it looks like we are going for a new record.[:)]

Hello everyone.

Club office opens for business between 10.30 and 11am

Due to the increasing scale of the event (!) I'm going to arrange cars in large model groups as much as possible - this will look fantastic if all goes to plan - need everyone to make sure cars are reversed into parking spaces so we get a line of bonnets - if you know what I mean. [:)]

Had a chat with your very own R.S. Stuart, he too is expecting a record 968 turnout!

Bring your cameras! - a good high quality portrait image may get us on the cover of Porsche Post!! [:)]

We counted roughly 19 (we left when it started to rain). Have attached a photo of some of them arriving - yours might be one of these! [:D]

We will be able to increase numbers at the next event as we collect ours on Thursday (hopefully!), a 1992 Midnight Blue Metallic Coupe. Can't wait..... [:D]

John was nice to meet you, next time come and stay with us. can't have you freezing to death in a tent. it would be bad publicity for the club[;)]

John - I didn't know you were there!

Shame I missed you - we have so many mutual friends from our mid-engined days (Joel, Brian etc)

Thanks Paul for organising the day - a very impressive turnout. Shame the weather did its best to keep people indoors! So many people were there from the forum whose tags I recognise, but not their faces! Oh well. It was great to see so many 968's in one place too.

Cheers,
Dave

Mark Brooks, (BrooksM)

We're you the one taking pics of the 968s arriving, I was in the first black one that pulled in, (NDH 400M), if you have any pics I would love to see them, my email is nicholashenson@aol.com if you could mail any through I'd be delighted, good luck with the new 968, hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine....

Cheers

Woah ... just back home and catching up on what been going on. Great to meet you to Helen, and be careful with those offers, I might just take you up. My new tent was brilliant, despite the weather, me and my hip flask were very cosy!

Dammit, I had no idea we all that in common. How do you know them? Are you another one from the old X1/9 days? I'd better invite you to the great Scottish Porsche Breakfast then (with Mr Boggiwotsit and the Blue Shadow!).

Yeah, top work Paul. In case you hadn't figured it out, I was the scruffy Scotsman who shook your hand on the way out!

John,

You got it - X1/9s!

I had a Silver VS.

John Boggiano I last saw at Bramham, but Joel Sciamma and Brian Thompson (is he the "Blue Shadow"? :ROFLMAO: ) I usually see a couple of times a year - at Brooklands or the PCGB annual event.

They often talked of you - now it's Elliot that does that!
