Front brake squealing noise

The front brakes on my 944 have recently started to make a squealing/screeching noise. It only happens once the brakes are warm. It doesn't happen at high speed, only at 15mph and below. It can do it while travelling in a straight line (in slow traffic) or when I move the steering to the right. Slight foot pressure on the brake peddle stops the noise straight away.
The brake discs are in good condition with no score marks or damage. Brake pads have plenty of pad material on them.
It doesn't effect the braking at all, I could stop on a sixpence.

The noise is an annoyance more than anything.

Any help or advice much appreciated.

Assuming you do mean when you brake ? , my first effort would be remove pads and calipers clean up the calipers,
apply copper grease to the correct part of the pads then re assemble.
Assuming the pads are to meaty to replace

Not sure if you have replaced the pads recently but I know the standard pads (Pagid and probably other makes) have anti squeal shims fitted or should do to prevent the noise, I recently replaced my old Pagid ones for Mintex and there was no way the anti squeal shims would fit back in so I just put some copper grease on the back of the pads and fitted them directly into the caliper with no noise when braking.

It may be you have either worn pads or some grit has got into the system that needs to be cleaned out, you could always try driving and using your left foot brake gently while accelerating this can sometimes remove the dirt.
