Front ARB

Hi
Just hoping for a little further advice on the on going suspension rebuild. (early steel wishbone lux)
I'm trying to fit Powerflex bushes into my front ARB alloy brackets, how on earth do they fit without shrinking powder being applied???
I'm hoping for some really simple advice here but this looks to me to be impossible!
cheers

Hi Tim

I fitted standard ARB bushes on mine so don't know if they're different? They were a PITA but silicone spray and a lot of forceful persuasion saw them go in.

....here's a pic of mine BEFORE I fitted the new wishbones and bushes all round. You can see the bush isn't too dissimilar in shape to the housing so it was a pain but doable

thank you for the reply and detail of the picture. I think I'll give it another go then either take it to a workshop with a huge press or try and put some original ones in as I think they are smaller than these poly ones.
cheers
tim
