As well at the monthly Cars & Coffee get togethers at Charity Farm (4th February) and The Mill at St Catherines ( 11th February) we have a number of other events coming up.
Our Monthly meeting on 21st February will be one of Judy’s Auctions. We have bought some items from Club Shop, and been donated some by Porsche Centre Preston. If you have any items you would like to donate to this auction, please drop me an e-mail and bring them along. Profits from this auction will go towards room hire, rally plaques, prizes etc. which may not be covered by our annual allowance from PCGB. Please also bring CASH as we have no card reader
On Easter Sunday 31st March we have been invited to the Sports & Classic Car Show at Shackleton’s Garden Centre, Chatburn. Pre-booking is essential, as places on the car park are limited. If you are interested in attending please e-mail me ASAP and I can block book.
Looking much further ahead to 20th/21st July we have been invited, along with R22, to the Wheels Up North Weekender event at Westmorland County Showground, Crooklands near Kendal. Please e-mail me know ASAP if you are interested in this event, so we can get a large PCG area. Last year we had about 70 Porsches as well as PC South Lakes attending. I need to let the organisers know by 2nd April 2024
WOTY 17th - 19- May
We’re proposing a WOTY weekend trip to the Scottish Borders this year over the weekend of 17th-19th May. The plan is to stay in the Tweed valley, driving up there on the Friday evening then having a choice of possible driving routes for the Saturday with the main suggested route following the A708 past St. Mary’s Loch to Moffat then turning North on the A701.
On the Sunday, there’s another great driving route planned going through Keilder Forest to Hexham and Alston taking in many dramatic roads.
Before finalising arrangements, we really need to know how many people might be interested in going. If you are interested in coming, please let our organiser, Geoffrey Stewart know by e-mailing him at Geoffrey6@mac.com.
Other Events
We have a number of other events being planned including drives with breakfast and lunch, events at Porsche Centres, Sports & Classic Car Shows as well as other visits to places of interest.
It would help us if you would let me know what you would be interested in. A list will be available at Monthly Meetings
We look forward to meeting you at some of our events.
