The reviewer clearly hasn't consulted our very own market oracle as the 2011 prices for a 964 seem to be lower than 2010.

Des, please put them straight........

Ben agree .... there has certainly been an uplift this year so far, with the lower priced cars being eventually mopped up circa £50-55K and now we are consistantly seeing £65-75K for average examples and the real Garage Queens LHD/RHD no well over £100K so they are a bit out of touch .... just look at Mobile.de!

My British chums, you will find "la cote" here:

http://flat6mag.com/images/lacote.pdf

It should be updated monthly (still showing the April, not the May values).

For those versed in statistics, it would be interesting to predict how many months will a car stay on a dealer's forecourt as a function of how distant is said "for sale" car from "la cote de Flat 6." [;)][;)]

In contrast, here is a dealer who seems to know what they are doing and actually sell a good number of quality cars (including impressive ones that do not stay for years on their website).

Not sure I agree with several of those numbers really...

1) As we all know 964 prices are def. higher this year than last. But difficult to quantify how much
2) 996 GT3 RS are readily trading lower than that from what I've seen as highlighted. I would argue sub 70k.
3) There are plenty of 73 Tourings around offered in the 170-190k range although people do seem to be putting a significant premium on the L/W.

Then again, these things always a bit hit/miss....

All IMHO

Rick

Interestingly they say that they are on the lookout for 964 RS's, among others, but specify 'origional/no track'.

At the moment, for sale, 935 k3, 911 SC/RS, 964 RS (68k kilometers at 84k euros) and they were at the Porsche Days with a 908 on display.

Not bad
