Hi,just a quicky.will the two peice turbo/s2 rear valance fit a non turbo/s2 rear bumper with out modification?My car is a standard 944 early non oval.

Yes Neil, I fitted one to the Lux I used to have, it fits straight on, just take your time measuring/marking the body where you need to drill through to attach it and make sure once you've drilled the holes that you treat each one with rust inhibitor to stop moisture getting at the edge of the hole and starting rust.

Yep.
A proper "toast rack" spoiler should also have a black rubber sealing strip, lots of copies don't. Buying a good used part should be easy, and cheaper that a new copy part. Might even get one in the right colour.

]The turbo-style valance was standard. As in, average. The slotted-valance was only ever available as an optional, extra-cost, fitment from Porsche. And as such would only be fitted by the more discerning owner.

I guess that's the difference, you are looking to make the car look standard. Ill just change it to look how I like it. Not that I don't like the slotted valance, nearly bought one
. Turbo comes soon I hope, after brakes and suspension are brought up to an appropriate level.

When I was much younger (and before I knew much about 944's )I always thought the toast rack was an aftermarket jobbie whereas the under tray was the 'proper' part, now of course I know different. My view is that they both balance the look of the car, it always looks a little odd otherwise. Apart from the addition of the undertray mine is completely standard, even down to the 15in teledials running correct size 185/65 tyres, although if anyone wants to swap for a set of D90's I'd be happy to change [
]
