Fitting a 3 Bar fpr on my 944T

Question for those with one fitted.

I have had a quick look at fitting one today, I see it goes on the rear of the fuel rail but it seems my current one has a threaded fuel line connection as opposed to a push on style one (secured with a hose clip) Do I need a different fpr or should I modify the fuel line to suit the new regulator.

What have other people done?

First of all why do you need one? Are you now running a Dual Port Wastegate or extra boost? If the answer to these questions is no then you don't need one. A 3 bar is a bit of a fiddle. It makes the injectors run at a higher duty cycle than they originally would have.

You need to chop the end off the pipe. I have a new one here for sale if you need one?

Yep - chop off the end of the pipe and secure the 3 bar with a hose clip

Don't fit one until you have fitted chips etc as all you will do will make the car run rich,they should be fitted in conjunction with chips.

I have a set of Authority chips as well up for grabs to.

No worries I have all the bits here except for the additional gauges required for set up.
