But the car loved it - engine temp went to 9 o'clock and just stayed there, brakes never faded and it just kept punching hard down the straights. People say these cars are made to be driven as hard as this and I can see why now.
I think there's another white one in the Norfolk PCGB region and that's it (hopefully) [
Thanks Tim - Grand Prix White, perfect for the April sun!
Hope to come across you at a track some time.

great pics Kenny......I love the colour, looks fab!
I've given mine abit of 'stick' recently and , I swear, it is running better too!!
Nice one Paul - it's not a myth is it
Anyway please keep pictures of your Riviera off this forum - looks like white isn't as rare as I'd hoped!

There was a 996 turbo there too, nice to see the Turbos on track.
Anyone else got pics of Turbos on track - John, turboww?

The one in Norfolk is an "S", kennyboy. It has only 2000 miles on the clock and has never been near a track (nor roads, come to think of it).Cant see the point of having one of these classic rockets if you dont have a regular track workout.Interesting that you had no brake fade - I get some after six quick laps of Goodwood , but none at Snetterton.Different tracks, I guess.
Hope to come across you at a track some time.

Have you considered changing the brake fluid and pads for something more suitable? Parr Motorsport or JZ Machtec or any decent independant should offer good advice/products/install.
Porsches are at home on track but a few tweaks to suspension set-up, tyre pressures, brake pads, brake fluid is always money well spent.

Gary, had the discs skimmed recently, DOT 5 fluid, standard pads, got the tyre pressures sorted.Think it could be my braking procedures - particularly at Woodcote! Triggered the ABS there a few times.Am working on it.Dont want to make the beastie too much of a track animal, because it has to serve as the Lady's limousine as well.
Thanks for the advice.
