Finally running again but advice needed !

Not sure if this is any help at all, apologies if not, but my S2 has two pumps connected (one for the windscreen and the other for the lights) they're mounted about halfway up (lights) and near the base (windscreen) it's possible the lower one has come unseated slightly - I had screenwash pouring out all over the driveway, lovely luminescent green that the other half fully appreciated!
 
Pipe from lower pump is rubber and perishes-if you look underneath you can see it. Easy enough to block off or replace. Other possibility is that the pipes behind the bumper have come loose-if you remove the driving lights, you can see the joints....[;)]
 
So, after 14 months following cam belt tensioner failure I have finally got her running again. Will be taking her to parr motorsport to get belt tensions checked and mot done, but have to fix an annoying problem first.... topped up washer fluid and it all came pouring out behind the lower lights. Think a hose has come off en-route to the headlight washer but how do you get to them ? Haynes manual no use as usual..... am assuming the hose coming off bottom of bottle runs to the light washers so could just clamp off ? Any ideas welcome, but otherwise I am a very happy bunny !

Was very worried at the tappet noise when I first started her up, but it quietened down after a few minutes running - I guess the hydralic valve lifters had completely drained out and take a while to refill..... few nervous minutes whilst I wondered if I had messed something up ! Had quite a few water leaks to contend with as well, as the hoses did not take too kindly to being dry for 12 months.

Tried that - they just disappear into the bumper void...... will try blocking off the lower pipe in the morning and see what happens. Not too keen on pulling anything else off the car, as every time I do something else seems to break ! Cap nut snapped off the fuel rail when I tried to de-pressurise, corner of the water transfer side of the engine block broke off when tightening up etc., one of the stud positions on the replacement cylinder head was about 1mm off so spent a whole day getting the manifold back on...... you get the picture [:-]
