Can anyone tell me what these modifications are? Looks like a Bailey dump valve has been fitted as well as a Dual port wastegate.

Pure laziness now:

1) The rear footwell (behind drivers seat) gets wet after heavy rain. Doesnt appear to run down from the sunroof, is this the sunroof drain tubes? How can i check/rectify?
2) Seems a drain tube is missing from the inside of the petrol filler area. Will not having this cause problems? What can i do to solve this?
3) Under the handbrake is some sort of sensor. I found a wire disconnected from this. I connected it and the (!) in red at the top of the dash stays on.......Any ideas?
4) Anyone got a spare bonnet badge or the tiny key head badge that they want to sell?
5) Anyone got a Car CD player that doesnt light up light Blackpool, that they want to sell?
6) Anyone got a Bee sting ariel that they want to sell?
7) Can a cargo/load net be fitted to these?
8) Anyone got Clear side repeaters to fit?

Thanks

Great to see you've got the car at last!

There are plenty of people who will give you hands-on advice at all the 944 events. Get yourself to Porsche and Polo, RAS or Porscheshop over the next few weeks and we'll be happy to help.

Your car has been well documented on this forum for years now, glad to see it's still within the 944-enthusiast's community.

Welcome to the cheap 951 club!
I have had mine for 5 months now , my Wife still doesn't like it, but I love it!

She is almost at 196k miles and at the weekend I finally swapped out the aftermarket alloy gearknob for a standard one, what an improvement!
(I can turn it from Pink to Red in less than 3 hours now!)

Rav I can answer a few:

1) Its the sunroof seal, park it pointing down hill and it dosent happen.
2)It was there, no idea what happened and yes as it could fill the inner arch with water.
3)The sensor for to tell you you left your handbrake on, this also used to work fine, is the sensor/switch stuck in?
4)Cant help, but key blanks are not a lot, think I paid about £10 for my lux.

As to the mods

It has a Baily by-pass valve, just like the std one but metal and shinny!
Also by-pass the re-cerc valve into a manual boost controler then to a DPW running in duel port mode with a 0.75 bar spring.

7) Can a cargo/load net be fitted to these?
certainly can. I have one in mine. Unfortunately i bought it several years ago so can't remember exactly where from. I know it wasn't from Porsche, i am fairly confident it was Seat, but not sure of the model. Sorry, not really much help [:-].
congrats on joining the fold anyway. The car looks very nice in the pics

There was a Skoda net that was popular a while back, funnily enough earlier this week I noticed the one in my friends Octavia estate that looked like it might fit.

Right all - Thank you for the replies. I have persuaded Mrs Rav and kids to attend the Polo tomorrow. I might also make the Cornbury house open day.

I will be looking for advise from you guys !!
