Female Petrol Head Reviews Porsche

This is the first Porsche forum that has actually made me laugh! Well done boys/men

Good. Not sure about the "boys/men" salutation though[:'(]

"Men" makes us feel old.

Then again, "boys" make us think of Angelina Jolie at he beginning of Tomb Raider 2.......

"Hello Boys...."

wow.....

By the way, you can review my car some time with pleasure - but only if you say nice things about it.[:D]

He he well done boys/men I have two paper hats and a chocolate frog for prizes [;)]

If you had offered paper hats and chocolate frogs on the 3.2 section you may have got a more positive note to start with [;)] Bribery goes hell of a long way.

I have my nice hat on in here as this bunch are altogether more delinquent and you will notice a lot more traffic and a lot of banter.

The 944 bunch have been a much more pleasurable lot to deal with! Treated well I offer things like chocolate frogs and paper hats [;)]

Thank you for my compliments everyone, looking forward to reviewing someone's 944 - maybe GPF. Of course I will say nice things about it, no one likes a critical neg head [:D]

LOL!! There is a guy on You Tube that does that actually! I see you have two cars currently without engines, are you dropping some highly tuned engines in?!

Sounds like he needs some competition then!

Nope nothing tuned going on here, I just haven't figured out that it would be much much easier to buy a fully working car than trying to fix dead ones. One engine is out having some new seals and a clutch where the other decided to eject half a conrod out the side of the sump.

Oh dear! I did this to a 200sx on the first corner of the first bend of a track day...[&:]

You're doing better than me, none of my cars were broken by me. I'm just foolish enough to buy them like that. I should probably seek help as I'm taking delivery of a broken Toyota tomorrow morning.

A nice easy one (I hope, I've not actually seen the thing yet but I've also not paid for it yet which is handy). All it needs is a new radiator and a good polish apparently so will make a nice break from 944 revival which isn't fun when the garage isn't heated and it also means I can wave bye bye to my little Skoda of powaaah!

You can review my s2 if you like. You don't even have to sit and make engine noises. You only need to finnish the welding ,paint and ,refit the interior. Oh! put a bit ov air inthe tyres.Mind you it could probs do with new tyres as well.[:D]

If we got together we could probably have one working (albeit a bit of an oddball) Porsche!

Ha ha, this sounds like fun...what about all the lovely looking cars in your avatars...?? What's up with them?! My welding by the way, holds, but it isn't pretty by any stretch of the imagination! Plus I'm more scared of arc eye than I am of alligators.

The car in my avatar is my 83 944 after i treated it to new brake pipes and before various bits off once again to fit new fuel pipes. It went back together for a couple of weeks after that before I decided to pull the engine out and that's how it's sat at the moment.

If you're particularly bored I've been keeping a project thread on PH to document everything. It's not a terribly exciting read but it does show how much work is required after a car hasn't been used for 8 years.
