[8|]Does anyone know how you go about booking a factory visit on your own? I' m touring Switzerland next month and want to stop off in Stuttgart on the way home.

Andy,

Go through your OPC or failing that, speak to Porsche Cars Reading and get the phone number and book it direct ! The museum is open all the time, however English speaking factory tours are I believe only on certain days. They also seem to be " booked up" well in advance

My wife organised a private factory visit in December 2000 for my 21st birthday. All she did was contact Stephen Robinson, who organises the clubs factory visits, and he gave her all the details and even made some arrangements for us. Stephen knows all the best things to see and also the pitfalls. He even sent us a few maps to help us! He has been organising trips like this for years. I' m sure he will gladly help you sort something out. His contact details are in Porsche Post.
You' ll really enjoy the visit.
Peter
PS I was lying about the 21st birthday!!!! [:D]

Andy,

The direct contact at the factory is Frau Schlegl.
0049 711911 5384 is the direct dial number. Frau Schlegl speaks English.

Have fun!
