Exhaust manifold

Hi All,

Me again!! is it possible to remove the inner exhaust header without removing the outer? the reason I ask is that I have taken the inlet manifold off and fuel rail and noticed that the injector on number two piston doesn't have its yellow end cap on and also that number two cylinder valves are open, which means if that end cap was on and has fallen off it could be in the cylinder lying on top of the piston. It maybe that it wasnt on but I should check to be on the safe side. So i am thinking with the exhaust manifold off I maybe able to see in the cylinder.

Thanks

Gavin

I don't think you will see into the cylinder by taking the exhaust manifold off.

Try vacuum with thin cloth stretched across it over the plug hole?

Thanks for the quick reply Graham, I do feel silly forgot all about being able to the the spark plug out. I have a cheap pinhole camera that should be able to fit down the spark plug hole and with some light I maybe able to see inside.

Thank Gavin
