Just a reminder about events coming up in the next few weeks. Most of the need pre-booking

Wednesday 21st February Monthly Meeting – Auction Night 19.30

We have a fantastic selection of items for Judy’s Auction, including redundant Club Shop items including PCGB Jackets, sweatshirts, T-Shirts, gillets etc. In addition, we have Porsche prints, ladies scarves, and hopefully some items from a local Porsche Centre, as well as an independent. In addition, some members have also donated items, including a golf bag. If you have any items such as unwanted Christmas gifts, please bring them along. We do not have a card reader so all items must be cash sales on the night. The monies raised will be reserved for Region 18 activities, such as refreshments at shows and events as well as prizes etc.

31st March – Easter Sunday Sports & Classic Car Show – Shackletons Garden Centre, Chatburn. To be able to enter you will need to pre-book. If you haven’t pre-booked you will have to park on the roads in the local area. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in attending and let me have your car details, registration number and photograph. We have a number of PCGB members who have already booked. Other car clubs are also booking and the event gets booked up very quickly

WOTY 17-19th May. (Weekend of The Year)

Geoffrey Stewart is arranging a weekend away in the Scottish Borders around Kelso. He is just researching suitable hotels and he has some drives planned. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested, to help Geoffrey with hotel arrangements. The idea is to travel up on the Friday afternoon/evening for dinner, a full days drive on Saturday and to travel back on Sunday, either direct down the M6 or a scenic route. We have a good number of members who have expressed an interest. Geoffrey needs to know numbers interested so he can negotiate with the hotels.

2nd June Supercar Showtime – Houghton Towers

I have pre-booked a small number of spaces for R18 members. Please let me know ASAP if you want to attend and I can send you the appropriate booking form. Please add R18 to the link on this page to ensure we are all parked together. Areas are allocated for car clubs, and space may be limited. This event raises money for Derian House, the Childrens Hospice in Chorley. And teh headline sponsor is Porsche Centre, Bolton
