Electric windo motors & weather seals

Windows have both suddently started to struggle - is this likely to be the weather seals which seem to have split or just 20 year old motors - any/all tips on replacing either both much appreciated.

If it's both together then maybe look for a point where they share something, electrical feed or earth?

Otherwise give the seals a good clean and see if it makes a difference. Or at least clean one and then 'race' the windows to see if it's made a difference! Go drivers side [:D]

mine were sluggish when i got it last christmas. didnt get round to doing anything about it but by the summer they were fine. Now they're slowing down again. i blame the weather.

My passenger side is a bit sluggish so I took the door-card off and greased every runner, ball-joint and the arm-hinge. Tested - and it's the same...

Grease the runners and lifter and smear vaseline (doesnt stain if you get it anywhere) in the window runners to reduce the friction there. Made quite a bit of difference but they still operated slower than modern cars.

Lube window channels with silocan spray may help.
If you need a drivers motor I have one thats open to offers
