Eldavo has an announcement !

Ive seen this too. Its reminded me that Anthony Bartlett (who is a thief and a liar) still owes me £40.

I will explain my part. Dave is selling the 2.7l chip, which I believe came from AntB, after I had paid for it. He promised to return my money, but didnt.

Where is he, grinning like one of those Cheshire things i believe from a good source (PT) giving it " Big Un's" i am told on the A1 last Sunday on the way to Malton SC Breakfast Club..........Dave ?

A Turbo will always give you a smile that an S2/968 cant. Another benefit for me, is that it makes Emma sit very, very quietly whenever its doing so!

I think he is busy trying to refit the interior. I managed to get him a mint set of rear quarters with no water damage and also a minty black non snroof headcloth out of a car yesterday. Just have the knightmare of trying to send it off today to him!
Alasdair

OK, can everyone who hasn't the foggiest what is going on here please put their hand in the air.

I thought the forum had a policy against naming and shaming, or does that only apply to Porsche?

I think the original poster (or someone in the know) should say whether this was an attempt at humour or not.

Now raising a hand as I don't know what is going one, probably not in the minority on here either.

Cheers,

Eldavo has a new car, a Turbo apparently...Simon is still bitter about the £40 he paid for the 2.7 Promax chip to AntB (but who had already sold to Eldavo)[;)]. We are still waiting for Eldavo to show up with pictures of said Turbo. And Simon seems to think you get more fun from a turbo because it can go fast in a straight line...[:D]

Got it?

Edd.

Nah, he's a copper, and therefore should be able to piece a story together from various fragments ....

(No mention of white sticks and samurai swords, eh?)

Anything you say can, and will be used in evidence !
Ed has said it all, but still no show from Dave, where did you get that roof lining from Al ?

Just to be clear, it was AntB that ripped 944man off, not me. I'd forgotten all about that actually otherwise I'd have given you first refusal, special price.

Yes, Frenchy is right I have a new car. I bought the track-prepped Turbo S that sat on eBay for a few months and have been ferverently making it a slightly more hospitable environment to live in.

So far I have swapped the plexiglass windows over to the glass ones, had the wheels refurbed in gloss black, changed the dump valve and HT leads, refitted some of the carpets, sorted out a load of dash wiring, painted some trim, spent a fortune with the OPC/Alasdair/eBay and driven really very fast in it.

Pictures to follow ;)

Ed, a confession if ever there was one......................................Nice One Dave, get it ready for Germany in May...................................Alasdair !!

I've started replacing the interior with burgundy carpets dyed black, TBH they're not as red/brown as the flash makes them look but still going to replace them when Alasdair drops off a set of black ones for me next month.

I've also had the wheels refurbed, commenced machine polishing (just the wing so far as I was too impatient to get her stickered back up)

well done dave [:D]

is that the one from Manchester that had been up for sale for ages? with kwv3's? as it had hung around for so long I had assumed it was a bit of a dog. just shows what i know...

lots more pics required...

what's your plan for the car? is it going back to road spec?

Yes that's the one, KW Clubsport suspension, M030 rollbars front and rear, sills done, respray, belts + rollers, tons of history.

It was rough around the edges for sure but nothing a bit of TLC (and £££) can't fix.

Leaving the sound deadening out and sticking carpets back in, going to get a harness bar/roll bar fitted across the rear, getting the rear seat area carpeted too. Alasdair is providing me with lots of little trim bits as well as interior quarter panels, trim and headlining, etc.

I've replaced the plexiglass windows with the glass ones and sorted out the manual mechs so they don't foul the dashboard. Been on the phone to EMC about their carbon/fibreglass door cards too.

Been having a little tinker under the bonnet, tidying up, cleaning stuff, etc. I've fitted a Bailey dump valve, KV85 HT leads and waiting for a load of silicon hose to replace all the vacuum lines.

The guy had it as a pure track car, I'm aiming for fast road/track spec.

Oh, and Mr McNulty can I have a new PCGB and 944 Register sticker please :)
