East Of England Meet Anyone?

Well it's about time we had one isn't it and Andy Hairyarse suggested this to me www.stamfordroundtable.co.uk/events/car-show/ Maybe we won't be in the show but it looks an excellent day out and maybe we could have another impromptue meet at Rutland water on a smaller scale, with a little more time for discussion, problem solving and advice sharing. Would love to have it at mine but I am sure the Missus couldn't cook enough lasagne for everyone (provided that they come). Go on you know you want to. Get the old girl out for a blat [:)] PS don't blame me if it p**ses down.
 
Sounds like a great idea. Gutted I wont be able to make it[:(]. I've got family round for the weekend.
 
Would love to but rather short on brownish points at the mo and got 3 days at club festival the following weekend!
Uppingham is having something similar on Sept 11 which may be able to do as a friend of my wife is the orgeniser.
 
Thanks Mike yes I know it was a bit short notice but I thought it would be good to try and combine a meet with an event. I like the sound of Uppingham. I think I would be up for that, gives a bit more notice. Any other takers?
 
Both are too close to the big weekend for me. [&o]

There will be details of Frontrunner in October in the next PP, and it's Midlands-based this year. And under cover if it's raining!
 
Sadly I am otherwise engaged this weekend but am a big fan of these informal gatherings. Would have suited me down to the ground if I were still full time Suffolk based but am on the move and dont get back there very often.
 
Well I think Andy and I will definitely be there and I know Elliot will. Would be nice to get a few 944s down. I don't think there is enough interest for a meet at Rutland. Fair play really at such short notice but still something I for one would be keen to do soon. Maybe as Mike says at Uppingham in a couple of weeks time.
 
Gosh! Is this Sunday? Not too far from me ... and I could stop by my birth town and where parents are in Melton Mowbray on the way [:D]

Any idea of times you would want to meet? I have quite a late (and possibly boozy) night on Saturday
