I made a decision yesterday to bite the bullet and get an early oil change done just after Christmas next week. I'm close to 7,000 miles now and am just doing it for peace of mind even though I know that I don't need an oil change at the moment.
I phoned all the 'London' Porsche Centres advertised on the Porsche UK Web site. Here are the responses I got:
I'm going ahead with Hatfield as they seemed the least incompetent in understanding and meeting my request. This was quite an appalling experience of OPC's for something as basic as an oil change request. I dread to think what my experience will be when i've done 20K miles and I need a service from an OPC.

- Reading: Nobody available initially from service, had to wait for callback. Cost: almost £280 (just the oil change, no oil filter change)!
- Chiswick: Couldn't quote price as an oil change seemed to confuse the service person! Chiswick also required the car all day to do an oil change!
- Guildford: Nobody called back.
- Mayfair: Nobody called back.
- East London: Nobody called back.
- Hatfield: Nobody available initially from service, had to wait for callback. Cost: Just over £240 including oil filter and PCGB 10% discount. The work could be done while-u-wait.
