Dear Judy,
We have a couple of events coming up which will require booking numbers.
Wednesday 16th August – Visit to Grafx and The Wheel Specialist near Clitheroe, Barrow Brook Trade Park, Clitheroe
18.30. THERE WILL BE NO MEETING AT GARSTANG GC.
The plan is to split into two groups and one group to visit Grafx and the other one to visit The Wheel Specialist, and then swap over. The businesses are adjacent to each other. After this it is proposed we go to a local pub.
Booking to this event is required to assist the businesses.
Saturday 19th August – Visit to Tom Hardman Cars at Stonyhurst. 9.00 to 12.00
Tom sells fine vintage cars such as Bugatti, ERA, Fraser Nash and of course Porsche. He also successfully races vintage cars.
Space is limited at his premises and booking is essential. A burger van will be there for us to purchase refreshments.
Meet on the Corporation Arms Car Park at Longridge to leave at 8.30 for a short drive to the premises.
If there is enough interest, after the event we can go onto a local venue for a bar snack.
For new members who may not have seen the last newsletter, here are some other events coming up
Sunday 6th August – Cars & Coffe - Charity Farm, Appley Bridge, Wrightington . Check with the venue to see if we are on the main filed due to the recent heavy rain.
