Droopy sunroof headlining.....

I've had a peer in throught the opened zip at the back with the roof open but there appears to be a panel between the headlining and the moving section of the roof. There are some screws accessable through the zip so my next step will be to undo those and see if the panel will move. Another thought is I wonder if it's possible to remove the panel upwards from the top (ie. from outside the car) by unclipping/screwing it somehow?

1. Slide sunroof back about 4"
2. Pull down on the front of the lining former frame which is held to the sunroof proper with 7 spring clips (as tailheavy said they need a good firm yank!)
3. Carefully slide the roof back as far as it will go
4. Take off the wind deflector by undoing the 2 screws either side and prizing the plastic clips out of the front of the sunroof opening (careful with this, mine were brittle and one snapped, tut!)
5. Pull the liner forwards and up and out of the opening, this bit sounds easy but wasn't as the liner frame kept catching on brackets at the side of the opening. So I unscrewed the guide from the front of each side that's fastened by 2 bolts to the sunroof, this allowed me to push the roof up to give enough clearance for the liner to slide past the obstruction. (This is only possible when the headlining is not covering the frame so dont know how i'll get on putting it back!!!)
Will post how I get it back in when i've glued the assortment of materials back in place!!!

Do it right and it's easy, do it wrong and it's immpossible!
The trick is to slide the liner in with the front slider brackets removed, push the liner back into the roof recess so the spring clips go past the holes that they will clip into eventually, put the brackets back on and slide the liner fowards so the front clips line up and push them in. If you do it with the front brackets in place the liner simply wont go past them.
