Driving Music

For yers Ive only listened to Substance, which has been a mistake.

Control was on film4 last night Al, I dont know if youve seen it?

Have it on DVD, a good film. Ian Curtis was an exceptional musician in my opinion, pity he brned very brightly for such a short time.
Alasdair

I have it too, but theres a curious attraction held by films showing on the telivision that you own on DVD... [:D]

I might be in a minority of 1 but Skrillex makes my right foot get very attached to the carpet.

Ooh driving tunes, the current threat to my driving license is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyOC6LtvDZY Not sure if that works as the sounds broken on my laptop.

ETA if it doesn't work, its Soundgarden 'Drawing Flies'.

I defy you not to get a little bit naughty when driving if your listening to AC/DC War Machine !

Mind you you have to crank it to 11 [;)]

Apocalypso by The Presets always speeds me up too, particulary Anywhere and Aeons.

This is a link for those of you whose interest in music never develpoed past Iron Maiden and AC/DC in 1981! [:D]
The Presets - Aeons

I nearly overlooked Gatecrasher too! The first Gatecrasher CD, usually known as Gatecrasher Black - CD2. Eighty minutes of smooth speed. Gatecrasher was always my favourite, but any real trance has a similar effect:
Boccaccio Life - A Secret Wish from Gatecrasher Black
Push - Universal Nation
Lost Witness - Happiness Happening

Rave on!

How about a bit of "German Metal" then Rammstein "Feuer Frei".

Speaking of which, this is a bit of trivia that may titillate:

The first autobahn was opened eighty years ago yesterday!

Ok, this is quite good for making progress and not metal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Eo7wqv6bls

Simon will hate this, proper cheesey Rock from 1986. Cool use of Mad Max by whoever put the video together a few years ago. Maybe NSFW

'Autobahn' would be better, surely?
I don't think so ,name is cool but song itself is pretty crappy , i would fall asleep behind the wheel. Showroom dummies is ok though

Kraftwerk enthusiasts may enjoy Vitalic :

A mate played me some Rammstein (he's a big fan - and speaks German which I guess helps). I had to conclude that the only bits I liked sounded a lot like they had been stolen from Led Zeppelin, except the original sounded better.
