Driving across Europe

Hi All - we are taking our 970 across Europe in a few days time. Does anyone know how to switch the headlight beam so it points in the other direction as per requirement on the continent?

I have checked the driver's manual and also Googled this issue but nothing has come up. After speaking with Porsche Hatfield, they advise upon landing in Mainland Europe, to take out the headlight and use the switch on the back of each unit to flip the beam over. Surely, there must be a better way.....? I really want to avoid using those stickers.

TIA

If there’s no menu option then If it’s anything like the 987 the switch inside the headlights doesn’t “flip” them. It simply masks the near side flip up that we have in the uk. That’s the bit that will dazzle oncoming traffic when in Europe.

So. You can do the flip before you go - it doesn’t cause you to dazzle anyone in the uk. I do mine when I prepping the car for the trip ( fluids , pressures, etc ) the day or so before I go and I flip them back when doing the clean the insect off and take trip stuff out the car when I return usually a day or so later. Takes 15 mins,
