A couple of days ago i went to close the drivers door window and the switch lever flew off.
I managed to reattach it, but each time I try to close the window it flies off again.
I am off on a driving tour for 11 days through Europe on Friday, so booked it in soon as I could. Going in to OPC on Wednesday. OPC said it is very unlikely to covered under warranty if the lever has just snapped off the top of the switch.
Would you agree that this wouldn't be covered under the Porsche warranty or should I challenge it.
When I extended the warranty last month, as car reached 3 years old, i didn't receive any documentation. Looking on Porsche website, the terms and conditions of the warranty is just an 8 page document and I'm not sure from reading this if it's covered or not. I don't know if there is a larger document, but I couldn't find it.
