Downpipe group buy

Just for reference, here is a picture of the Lindsey 3" (sorry 2.75") downpipe with my SPS turbo.
The inner section of the downpipe is flush with the copper gasket.

Mine is less than 3" ID just there too - but it flares out straight away.

I'll dig out the laptop and check a datalog for the low rev spool George.

I went for the Fabspeed DP, my logic being it was cheaper than most, it was 2.75 ID which is similar to most of the ones that were available at the time, the biggest being the SFR DP which was 2.85 ID. I figured that 0.1 inch was going to make very little difference in the real world. Also it mates up to the Fabspeed front pipe which then deals smoothly with the change from 2.75 to 3 inches and so compliments the DP. The SPS turbo looks very nice, must get myself one of those! What RPM do you see 1 bar of boost in 4th?

The Lindsey downpipe also flares out after the flange, just like on the H&S unit. I didn't measure it past the flange though.

Yes Nick, time to get you a SPS turbo, it's Christmas after all! [:)]

Maybe not in time for Christmas, but I am close! Just put the intake back on for the nth time this morning. Car is running and sounding better than ever, no more exhaust leaks or oil leaks!
