Door, Ignition and Glovebox Locks

I don't know about anyone else but I've got three keys for my '69 911. One for the doors, one for the ignition and one for the glovebox.

I'm considering buying a rekeying kit to make them all work on one key but the price is prohibitely expensive and you can only buy the kits in bulk.

However, if anyone else is interested or needs their locks rekeying to work from the same key it might be worthwhile. Average cost would be £10 per lock.

Any interest ?

There is another option, PRO 9 rebuild the barrels to match any key. I had both my door locks rebuilt to match the ignition and glovebox, the cost was about £20, saves buying a kit.

Give them a try.

I don't have a key for my glovebox at all. Had the car for seven years and I've no idea what is in there, although it makes a noise if you bang it so there must be something.

Anyone know of a way to get the glovebox out without the key? I could have the lock picked but not sure if I will ever get round to it![:)]

I to have no key for my glove box would like one.

Jon how you getting on with the wheels

You should be able to take the box out from underneath the dash, not sure if you can but looks like it may be poss.
