With special early bird prices & club parking now available, I wondered if any other Cayenne owners would be interested in attending this as a register experience or perhaps a small get together.

Those who have been to the Festival before will know it’s an extremely good event that allows attendees to get up close with the drivers and cars. And as the Club have again pledged to support our own PCGB area, it’s a good chance to catch up with other members, old friends or grow new friendships.

Deb & I are currently planning to travel down early Saturday morning and stay somewhere close to the circuit and as it’s scheduled over a Bank Holiday and there’s no need to worry about rushing back on Monday. Subsequently, I’ve been looking at nearby hotels for the Saturday and Sunday evenings around the surrounding area.

Two ideas so far are The Priest House On The River DE74 2RR which has fairly decent reviews and is fairly close to the circuit. A cheaper alternative I can definitely recommend is the Blue Jay, Marston Inn DE21 7BH, although a little further away, but being similar to a travel lodge, offers excellent value for money and great pub grub. Whatever you prefer, please note you will be responsible to pay and book your own hotel and tickets to avoid confusion.

If like us you relish the chance to meet even more like-minded Cayenne enthusiasts this year, be it during an event or for a drink or two in the bar at the end of the day, please feel free to pm, email or add your name to this thread.
