In 2006 i had a 997S, and i think it retunred about 23mpg. I now have a 997S cab, and its a shade uinder 23.
Here's the interesting thing, altho the turbo was insanely fast (0-60 under 4secs, and kept pulling hard even at 180mph), the computer showed avg mpg of 26 (and that was reletively steady throughout my ownership).
I think that's called having your cake and eating it [

My car is so fast that extra BHP is great but certainly not essential, the sound is something to improve upon though, although it is better than a standard turbo

What torque figures do they quote Mark? They may be an issue with the PDK if it's a big increase - not sure.
Alan, the full kit £3800 gives you 604 bhp and 590 lb ft, up from 493/479 for the normal turbo and 523/516 for the S.
Looks like almost all the power increase comes from the higher torque, not increased max RPM and, presumably, they lift the maximum boost pressure and are relying on the PDK to be able to handle that without stripping the cogs...
Question is, how much is a new PDK? £12k? £15K?
I think you should go for it Mark and let us all know how you get on......
