Our former R/O Derek Sharp is undergoing surgery today for the removal of his Gall Bladder.Whilst this is a routine operation we should be aware that invasive surgery always carries an element of risk. I am sure that I speak for all Club Members when I say the we are thinking of you Derek.

I had the operation last August supposed to be key hole 1 hour ended up open surgery for 41/2 hours!!!!![]

Good luck with that.

Brad

Derek,

Another bit missing, at least no-one can call you a complete idiot! [:D]

Hope the recovery is short and sweet.

Cheers,

Fred.

Well that's really good news --hope your recovery goes smoothly,Derek.[:)]

Not quite, so here is the report from the horse's mouth..... The procedure went well, but subsequently I had the most enormous series of explosive projectile vomits [:D] I actually hit the far wall.....A world record. It was due to the large amount of gas they put inside your tum Subsequently I failed the 'wee test' so had the rather painful and embarrassing situation of a pretty nurse shuving a catheter up my JT. I got up in the night for a wander and noticed I was pulling a big bag around with me LOL Hope that is not too much info [:D].

Anyway, OK now but rather sore and sport the biggest black bruise on my tum ever seen by man!!!! Will not be doing aerobatics for a few days [:(] In fact, along with Mr Ives, we cannot drive for a week or so. Good news for other road users...

Glad to see they did not remove your funny bone, Sir ( you still out rank me, I dare'nt call you Derek, Sir ! ). And that Ives is getting better too.

Typical Sharpie, do anything to get a pretty nurse to play with your JT.

The way the Club is going Porsche need to add Bath Chairs to their array of other vehicles (bikes, sleds, pedal cars etc).

I hope you continue your recovery better now Derek. All the best.

Chief Tech to Wing Co...............

Roger-Wilco----Don't go pulling any ejection levers----Over and Out

Seriously Derek, Get Well Soon and don't go pulling Rank.................so to speak !!
