Dead Battery and Manual Override to the Bonnet?

So no tips on finding a replacement battery from the otherwise wonderful Costco....

Does anybody have suggestions on opening the bonnet manually? The battery is completely flat

The detailed instructions for opening the bonnet when the battery has failed are in the handbook. If I remember correctly you will need another 12v supply which is coupled to the car via the fuse panel in the footwell. The handbook also explains how to access rear bulbs - look under: Bulbs - replacing. John
