Sadly on January 27th R7 club member David Ward passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack.
David had only been a member from 2017 but in that time he and his wife Lorraine had attended and enjoyed many events.
David gained the respect and friendship of many club members and will be greatly missed.
I have spoken to Lorraine and she has stated that she is quite happy for flowers to be sent to the funeral or alternatively a donation made to the British Heart Foundation by those who wish to do so.
The funeral will be held at St Michael's Church , Emley at 12:00 on Thursday 13th February.

Chris please pass on our sympathies and best wishes to Lorraine. David was such a nice chap, it's actually quite hard to believe.
 
We are so sorry to hear that David has suddenly passed away - a dry witted true Yorkshire man and Porsche enthusiast - a very sad and unexpected loss to all who knew him.

Really sad news about David. Such a nice, gentle man, who always had a smile and time to have a chat. Love to Lorraine

Sharon and I were shocked and saddened to hear this news. David was a gentleman and we enjoyed his company at many Club events.
