Dash bulbs

I bought some LEDs after reading this thread lol. I'll post up my results when I get them.

I shall be buying mine aswell Darryl once pay day comes in (could get the now but shall wait), look forward to the pics. Im also gonna be buying a few twist fits for my full beam, parking light and indicators, plus a load of white led's to do ll the heater unit, switches, clock and cigarette lighter now I have an idea what to do for them. while doing that also going to hardwire my satnav cable behind the dash as well to come out by the drivers windscreen pillar.

Don't bother replacing any of the driving light bulbs with LEDs, I tried and it triggers the bulb-out warning of rapid flashing indicators. You need the LED bulbs with inbuilt resistors and they're not worth the cost.

[&o] thats a shame to hear! Still might be something I shall look into in the future, but got other things that need sorting and coming up in the next few weeks that need sorting that led's with resistors.

Or you solder inline resistors to correct the issue easy enough to do and cheap to buy had to do the same with my motorbike when I replaced the tail lights and indicators for a single combined unit.

David could you send me a link to said resistors please? As I have no clue what to look for there. I wont be doing the soldering as im hopeless with a soldering gun, but hoping to ask someone I know who's very good with one to do it for me.

I like originality but for me orange lights and dim dash lights are a real pet hate, but I know as well if I change my mind then its easy enough to reverse the change as well.
