Dansk Tailpipe...

Never heard of it happening on a Dansk before [&:] They are all stainless construction so should last an age.

I've no axe to grind on this, just watching with interest for when mine eventually goes. I think you'll find that Chris Horton mentioned a problem in 911 & PW....fitted one to his 924 and it started rattling in no time, I recall. Very worrying.

Not much point forking out for a stainless exhaust if it falls apart anyway! Can anyone confirm they've had one for a reasonable time/mileage and from whom?

When the time comes I like the idea of the Promax cat back/rear box.

Yes I've had an S2 Dansk for 5 years and a Turbo Dansk for four years with no problems on either. The S2 came from Bert Gear and has done circa 40k miles, the Turbo came from Annantone on Ebay and has done 15k miles (9k with a 3.2L engine squeezing very hot gases through it [:)])

Simon's is the first problem I've heard of with Dansk. Might be a one-off production fault, or one of a small batch?

I'd consider going back to them with it. You don't ask.....[:)]

Ive seen a picture posted before, not too long ago; where the whole stainless tailpipe had come away leaving a rusty mild steel inner... I might email them, but I cant see them doing a deal from the IoM.

Mine has now fallen off and Im p*ssed off! Ive recovered it off the road but its damaged beyond use.

Mine fell of my 924S exhaust from Dansk. Really dissapointed. Thinking of looking for a different exhuast supplier very soon.
