Anybody heard of these guys http://mijexhaust.com/ ?

They quoted me £295 for custom made stainless steel exhaust for the S2 including fitting, tailpipe, lifetime guarentee and VAT. Seems cheap to me..

But perhaps you get what you pay for... http://www.tt-forum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=146951&hilit=MIJ

Interesting - some serious problems with that TT system.

Mind you, out of interest I've asked them for a quote on my 968. There's another bespoke manufacturer offering to do a 968 system for a shade under £500, so the comparison will be interesting...

Can you weld? Or do you have a mate you can weld? If so you can buy mandrel bends and boxes tail pipes etc from custom chrome for about £100 and stick your own exhaust together.I am going to do this. Most companies who make exhaust out of these bits anyway and then charge you a fortune to stick them together. Unless you go to a real exhaust maker who makes all the bends and builds a poper custom exhaust like hayward and scott then it's just not woth the money.

Well I used MIJ 2 weeks ago and am delighted with the result. Full system and decat, looks and sounds superb. Yes you get what you pay for, but unless your car is concourse or real restoration job, I'm afraid I have better things to spend my money on than a system built by anyone coming in over £500.... MIJ quoted me £325 which they honoured. Mid sport gives a nice sound and it seems very well put together. They're customer service is also excellent.

I think that TT system is terrible!
Looks like very poor, but n/a 944s at least have lots of space for the exhaustso the system should be easy to build and quick to fit ie they should be able to do a good job, that TT one is tight and awkward.
I'd have a look at them, but mine came with a stainless (and larger bore) one

The beauty with our system is it is pretty straight with just a couple of gradual bends so should not present a problem to any exhaust builder.

That TT system looks much more complicated

Just been looking through some invoices for the 2.7.
It had a custom s/s system built and supplied by AAS Newcastle for £365, fits well and sounds good!
