Customer Service Slipping?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else has recently experienced poor customer service from their local Porsche Centre?

I have been a customer of a certain centre for around 5 years & have noticed a definite slipping of standards recently, especially with regard to communication:

When telephoning the Centre, it takes longer for the phone to be answered & you can detect the call being rerouted during the wait.

Inevitably the person you want to speak to is not available, so a call-back has to be requested. Sometimes they do call back, sometimes they don't. If they do call back, often it is from a mobile or a distant location, not from the Centre itself.

Emails to their published address either do not get delivered or are deleted without being read. Same when replying to emails which come from the Centre, e.g. those asking if you are interested in selling your vehicle.

The Centre was recently unable to answer a technical query which I had posed to them. Instead of finding the answer, they suggested that I contact Porsche UK. I contacted Porsche UK who told me to contact the local Centre!

Now definitely considering a change of vehicle due to increasing dissatisfaction with Porsche customer service. []

My suggestion would be to take a look at the independent Porsche centres around the county.

The main dealer I used to use was better at answering technical questions face to face, so maybe pop in. Also our club car registers forum pages are a good place to start for technical questions.

Best wishes
Duncan

Thanks Duncan. Good idea about the independent dealers, I can see that there are a few reasonably close to my location. Hopefully their prices will also be better without those huge premises & staff to support.

If you have a Porsche Extended Warranty just take care to read the document before using an independent.
