Cured: Strange knocking sound from front of car

Got the car back from my local Indy last month after having brakes sorted. (plate lift sorted on fronts, new pads, new flexis and general clean up). Haven't driven her much but am noticing a strange knocking/rumbling sound from the front. Seems to be coming from drivers side.

Really difficult to describe but sometimes almost sounds like a bubbling or cavitation sound you hear in a pump otherwise sounds like something rattling. Also seems to be bump related in road but cant be certain. clutch in/clutch out makes no difference. Also still there when applying brakes. I have also notices a whirring sound from same place when abs kicks in. Never heard that before the brake service.

Was just wondering if anyone had any pointers based on the work that has been done.
 
Not sure but the ABS pump should make a whirring sound when the ABS is triggered and when you pull first pull away.
 
After not driving the car for a while I finally had a chance to get it up on some stands. Both antiroll bar nuts were loose! I used the same nuts a while back when i dropped the bar down to do ball joint cover. Nyloc part seemed pretty useless. Fitted some new nyloc nuts its all tightened up. Any idea what torque these should be? Difficult to judge as it just seems to compress the bush more and more. Anyway test drive later should hopefully prove all ok. I'll keep an eye on them over the next few weeks. Craig
