yup meet at the track gates open from 10.30am (hot food and drinks are available on site.)we have the track from 1pm.

thats as much as i know. for any more info contact Club Audi. as per the form you were sent with your application

Do you know what time we have to turn up for briefings etc? If we are not on track until 1pm I would prefer to leave it until at least 12 before I turn up but I don't want to miss said briefings etc.

<Edit: Do you have the club Audi phone number as I think I have mislaid it.>

i am aiming to get there for 12pm as i don't want to be hanging around for ages.

Ian i've e-mailed you the number.

Ian unable to e-mail you as you have your e-mail option unavailable on this forum.

you could e-mail Malcom secretary@club-audi.co.uk

Is it okay to turn up just to watch?? I live nearby and fancy coming along with my mate who also has a 3.2. It sounds like a good excuse to get our 911s out for the day (weather dependant).

Are you sure about this, Helen?

When Club Audi rejected my entry (one day late), he said I was welcome to come along to watch.....

Of course anybody can come and watch!! -cld u check this out Helen? -a day I went on last year seemed open to all and sundry....

C u there!

And you miserable boogers, the idea of arriving earlier is for a social before the action starts.....isn't it???[]

Well I hope we can just turn up to watch, as I've had the day booked on my calender for months now. If we do need to register - is it possible to do it now??

Not sure when that happenned. I've turned it back on now.

Thanks anyway. I'll email them.

Ian.

Only place I know is Norton Canes services on the M6 toll, about 15 miles away......

Depends which direction you are coming from but the world famous 'Greasy Lil's' (Hollies transport cafe) off J12 M6 on the A5 towards Cannock is not to be missed! There are the usual Little Chefs on the A38 nearer Curborough but the food is usually cr*p + overpriced. Will I be let through the gate if I just turn up?

well i was told by both Club Audi and Curborough sprint track organisers that only cars pre registered would be allowed through but, it seems others know more. and as i've never myself ever been i bow to their greater knowlage.

Can we check rather than presuming? Now I don't know who is right but I don't really want to travel there to be turned away at the gate!!

Speaking purely personally, I would have thought if the organiser (Helen) says the day is full then it is full.

I know if I'd organised an event and people started turning up at the gate I'd be a little bit peeved [:)]
