can someone tell me if all porsche 944s (uk) with out cruise control fitted still have the wiring loom in place from factory?

I dont think they do, I think all turbos have the loom, my 968 certainly does not have it, pain in the ass as I'm going to have to make a loom as I have all the parts for a cruise system

Just have a look at your car, should be a round connector free up by the clutch fulid tank.

I believe Martin is correct. I have the loom in my turbo but no cruise control. I've only ever seen one car with it, an 87 turbo, and the indicator stalk broke, which contains the cruise lever, so we ended up having to install a non cruise stock so the indicators worked again. Extremely rare equipment, probably more available stateside.

No that rare, I have a full set, stalks, motor, ecu, pedal switches, even got the ends of all the harness, and both throttle cables, and a full set of replacement capacitors for the ECU,

just finding the time, space, and enthusiasam, and buying about 15 reels of different coloured cable

thanks people. i know the equipment for the cruise is available ie. ecu cable stalk ect. but is the loom in place? are the connectors for ecu under the foot well and what do they look like waylander?

Two oblong connectors under the fusebox and behind the carpet by the bonnet pull, easier to look for the other end, round connected covered with a cap somewhere near the clutch fluid tank

so i found the round connector under the bonnet ,followed the wires round under the bonnet and into the bulk head next to the fuse box. im looking under passenger side footwell inside the car struggling to see the two connectors. do i need to remove the the wood panel with the four screws or the under tray of the fuse box?
