Could this be a Turbo S

However, the spec does point to it being a Turbo S - there are some out there that came from the Turbo in non Silver Rose configuration.
Looking at the Brake Calipers, they do look like medium blacks (MO30) that have been sprayed red. (note recon in history)
Points of critique:
Gearbox even with LSD & Cooler doesn't take 4 litres
Interesting wiring hanging down in the drivers footwell
For all the effort in selling - 60secs with a vacuum cleaner to remove the detritus from the drivers footwell, prior to photo
Non standard 17" cup wheels
Why do the HG and then refurb/exchange the head - did it overheat very badly ?
Notwithstanding the standard 944 issues, provided its straight and limited rust, £4.5k is pretty good for one !

I've asked the seller for the Option codes
It has had a number of jobs doing, including OE sill replacement - assuming that has been done well, and documented, that is one laborious job that won't need doing.
No doubt it will be snapped up quickly.

Oh lord this looks an absolute bargain compared to the flip of a coin heap I bought blind from Scotland.
Bangs head repeatedly on desk.

I must be genuinely out of touch with prices... It might be a decent deal but it appears to be offered at £4500 and last had an MOT in 2010. It doesn't take long to attract a few big bills in a short space of time on a 944 (and particularly a turbo in my experience). At from the advert it's clear what has been done.... But why isn't has another £50 thrown at it for an mot? What are the jobs required? That aside, if it was close to me then I would look at it myself and ask!

I guess Shark bought it?
Sure, it doesn't have an MOT and no doubt needs work doing to pass, but it has had a number of worthwhile jobs doing - so I would bet on it not needing too much money spent to pass. Of course a car with an MOT is just the start of it and after beinglaid up for some time, it will no doubt need more money being spent to bring it up to scratch.
The Turbo I bought in the summer had been laid up for three years before the previous owner bought it, and he ended up spending £10k with a specialist in 12 months!! Although that figure would have been a great deal less for a DIYer.
As above, hope this one gets tidied up and loved
