I just wanted to pass on my thanks on what was a hugely enjoyable event yesterday. My wife and I travelled down from Yorkshire (R7) to take part. Events such as this don't happen without considerable effort from the volunteers at every part of the planning and delivery of the event, and not forgetting the significant stress that accompanies trying to organise activities at this scale. The fact that it ran so smoothly (well on the face of it at least!) is a testament to their energy and commitment. From the welcome at OPC Swindon, the creation of the map and parking at the destination was seamless and well run. The route was picturesque and took us to some beautiful villages. We only had one argument as we turned the wrong way out of the OPC but it always pays to make mistakes early!!!
