Cotswol Rally. Yes, it's on and it's booking!

What's the route? I'm car no 9 and I know we start at PCGB HQ. and stop at Gaydon. Where does it finish and do we collect details on the day?

Turn up at Cornbury House 9.30 on, get bacon cob, natter, kick tyres, listen to briefing, collect lunch, and route book, follow route (wondering whether you are right or the 3 Porsches heading in the opposite direction are!) arrive at Gaydon, eat lunch, wander around museum, natter, kick tyres, follow route, (wondering whether you are right or the 3 Porsches heading in the opposite direction are!) arrive at CH, natter kick tyres, presentation, go home.
Think that covers it [:D]

Please excuse the poor-quality photo, these glass trophies are near-impossible to photograph without a studio! Thanks to everyone who helped organise the Cotswold rally, and to the 944 owners who had such a great day out and won us all this award. The fact that the award isn't just for most cars there says a lot about how the Club appreciate the older models.

Good for you, Paul. There certainly was a good turn out of 944s.

Thanks to Geoff and his team...as usual a great event and a great day out.

A good day for us...my independently minded heater (still not fixed) managed to blow cold all day!!

Bloody show off [:D] Next year the 993 Register is bound to win. Just you wait & see.

Talking of older models ... do I fit that description? [:D]

Well done guys!

I want to know what Geoff has sold to get the weather he does for his events!

We also provided the camera car and navigational guidance!

Only managed to say hello etc to Paul, John, Graham ,Jon and a chap with a very shiny red 2.7 , but didn'tget his name. I think I will get a t-shirt with A9XXC in large letters.

Paul is too modest to mention but he has been rewarded for all his car parking and other efforts with the use of the newly restored club 356 for a weekend and thoroughly deserved too.

Well done Paul - enjoy it!

I didn't get chance to talk to ANYONE else with a 944...waved to a couple en route (Including you Mike-I was leaving Cornbury as you arrived!)
Did talk to a very nice couple in the white Panamera at the museum. I want that car!! [:D]

Before you lot get carried away by self congratulation, you need to be aware that the deciding factor was Paul McN himself.
He is to be seen working hard at all Club events even if he does moan that there are too many[8|]

Thanks for organising the rally, my wife any I (the ones who were late and thought we were going to Kemble aerodrome) had a really great time. See you at the next one.

You're ok, no-one noticed. Except the bloke on the entrance gate, who might mention it in the PP write-up. [:D][:D]
