Anyone know how long after taking delivery of your new car before the first complimentary copy of the Christophorus magazine is received?

Hi
As it's a quarterly, it depends on when you buy your car. If it's just after the release you may have to wait 3 months for the next one I suppose!
Mine was late, so I told the OPC salesman next time I was in and they sent me the latest while they 'reminded' Porsche to send me the next one - from then on it was sorted!
Give your OPC a nudge - I'm sure they'll do the same.[;)]

very inconsistent - some get them, some don't.

I think its suppoosed to be for 12 months with every new car, but somw owners keep getting the magazine for much longer

Your replies confirm my doubts. I contacted my OPC and received the following reply:

"Christophorus should be sent to you bi-monthly on a complimentary basis
for 12 months; it may just be that you missed out on the last one due to
the timing of your collection.

If you don't receive the next issue or just want to check that you are
on the mailing list please call the Porsche Information Service on 08457
911911."

I will give them a call tomorrow.

I was in the same position after buying my new Boxster earlier in the year and called the magazine direct. I was told that the reason I wasn't getting a copy was because I had answered NO to the question about receiving Porsche marketing infomation during handover. From a Porsche point of view Christophorus is considered marketing material !! My name was then added to the list and I received a copy th efollowing week.

I hope this helps.

Are you expecting a Christmas card from your friendly OPC?[;)]

I Don't have one of those either :ROFLMAO:

But I will mention it when I'm in next time..
To be fair without the forum comments I'm not sure I realised I would/should receive it anyhow..[]

Same happened to me, so I asked the OPC to re-instate it - I now receive two copies, but from a marketing point of view its quite good as the second copy goes in the waiting room at work!

Update: Called Porsche Information Service on 08457 911911 ( phone answered quickly, by a person and no menus to navigate for a change). I just had to give my post code and name and confirm that I was willing to receive marketing information from Porsche - promised a back copy and future issues.
