Clutch pedal - noise when pressed

I usually have my music on full blast so cannot hear anything else. However, today I drove the CS with the CD player turned off and noticed that every time I press the clutch pedal there is a whining, groaning noise. It's as if something is not lubricated properly.

Does anybody else have this and is this something I should see an OPC about? The car is driving magically by the way and there are no issues with the gear change which is silky smooth. [:)]
