Clutch Hose Question

Shortly I will be having the clutch and RMS done, whilst this is underway I am contemplating if it is worth replacing the normal clutch hoses with braided steel versions.

Has anyone done this? Do they actually make any type of difference to ease of engagement / disengagement of clutch? Any ideas where I could get versions for the Boxster (I can only seem to find them pre-built for Japanese cars and Lotus models)

Why would a braided hose make any difference to the action of the clutch?
 
Read something about more efficient transfer of hydraulic pressure due to the fact it doesn't expand as much as the rubber version (same blurb they spin for selling steel braided brake hoses).

Wasn't entirely sure if this was true, hence the reason for asking. Your thoughts?

I would have thought that any difference would be too small to measure without the aid of laboratory.

Braided hoses look very pretty but they will not be too visible on your car.

 
No discernible benefit unless it is getting very hot.

(The red clutch hose on the Mk1 Lotus Elise which ran from front to back had to be changed to a braided version because the original rubber hose was getting hot and was going soft.)
