Clunking noise when turning into drive !

My Son directed me to a web site called www.macanforums.co.uk where I saw many other owners complaining of very similar traits with their Macans, so it appears to be a very common fault, which apparently doesn,t even get better when Winter tyres are fitted at this time of year.

Steering Racks all round [:)]

Well to be honest the little clunk I get at the n/s/f when I enter my drive is quite minimal.
The main problem I am getting is when I reverse out of my drive downhill then pull away uphill with a right hand lock on I get a horrible noise from the n/s/f and sometimes from the n/s/r too !
It,s not wheel spin, and I,m not flooring it or anything just driving normally. It happens when the road is dry as a bone and the surface is quite grippy.
It,s hard to describe, it,s mechanical, rotational, a shuddering type sensation.
I,ve considered the possibility that it, the tearing type sensation you would get from a worn out drive shaft coupling, but it doesn,t happen on a left hand lock or when driving straight on, even at speed.
If I take it in to Porsche Cardiff I bet they wouldn,t be able to get it to happen, and send me away empty handed !
